Draw length is everything. Without a clicker, you'll never get it right. If it isn't right, then you aren't using your clicker effectively.

I shoot a fair bit with my iPod on so that I can't hear the clicker. You just know that it goes off. If you don't let go when your clicker goes off, then you aren't using it right. It works the same way a back tension release aid does. If you are controlling when the shot goes off, then you are anticipating the shot and that will lead to inconsistancies.
