Well, about 13 years ago we held our usual April FITA at Wolverhampton Company of Archers. (It`s a York now, and soon to be a 720).
I had set up all my kit, assembled my recurve - a 2nd hand Yamaha at the time, and put myself in a zen like state of calm
as archers A and B walked to the line for sighters. I was archer C.
I looked down at my fully assembled bow and what did I see? I saw upside down limbs - they were looking at me.
You have NEVER seen a faster take-down of a bow and re-assembly.
I was JUST in time.
