| £15 annual fee adults, £5 juniors. £1.50/70p per indoor session, £25/£10 fee for whole of outdoor season. Our club is lucky that the school we shoot indoors in, charges us very little for the hall. Outdoors is a chunk more expensive, approx £900 but the competitions we run help towards this cost.
For outdoors our members have the choice to pay weekly £2.50/£1 until they reach the full fee, then they stop paying. As treasurer I would like to stop this option and just have everyone pay the fee in a oner. Keeping track of weekly payments outdoors is a pain. A number of our club hardly shoot outdoors at all, but my view is that the £900 is a club cost and all members should contribute. Our AGM is in November so am putting together a couple of proposals for members to vote on. Hopefully, I'll get my way, especially as no-one else is jumping up and down saying, me for treasurer, I'll do it!! |
