| If you do lose one, then get all the archers waiting for you to finish searching & form them up as a line, parallel to the direction the arrow was flying. They then walk forward, searching their 3' of grass (in bare feet ideally) until they have walked from one side to the other of the possible site of impact. The one furthest from the target then stays still, while the others form up the line beyond him. Then you repeat the process, but walking the other way...
