I shoot a little recurve and if I had to would be quite happy to shoot it full time.
But when I think of not shooting compound a little bit inside me dies. Something about the parrallel limbs, the cams, the arrow rest that draws blood once a week, the release aid, hitting a tiny dot indoors etc is just plain fun.
Meanwhile my wife has to parctise her form, do SPTs, gets sore fingers from teh string, hs to get regular massage for her back etc etc and then has to stress about arrow spine. Nah, compound is much more fun.
