| RE: --- Edads! Another really long term archer. Me, I took it up in '72, when bows were bows, and only professionals used stabilisers. My first trophy was a glass ashtray for coming last in the inter-universities clout at Newcastle in 1974. Downhill ever since. I did gain the county trophy for "Best score by a third class archer", and then re-gained it three years later. Still can't afford new equipment, as even the stick insects come above me in the domestic pecking order. But I love my archery, and hope I give to the sport more than I take from it. |
