A paper test with a recurve is about as useful as a bareshaft test with a compound, or a chocolate teapot.

If you are good enough to shoot reasonable groups at 50yds then try a walkback, otherwise just get someone to see if the arrows fly OK.

Remember, a good archer with a badly tunied bow will always beat a poor archer with perfectly tuned kit.
