Its interesting what you say about mass in the hand. The Sirius is listed as 1350g, W+W nxpert at 1400g, Hoyt Aerotec 1350g, and Samick Masters at 1300g. I think its the draw weight he is struggling with, so he's getting into bad habits, rather than the physical mass. I'll weigh his Nishi when I get home. Plus his current limbs weigh a tonne, so much fine wood and the tips shaped like 1960s Italian shoes, so maybe new fangled foam jobs will offset any increase.
His main problem with his current kit is that it works on the principle of let-off of weight, and let down to its lowest the bow is much less efficient. If he changes his kit, he can start low and crank up, when he has ironed out his form problems. He's still a big strong chap, at 6'5", so I don't think he's needing a Fibrebow!
