and then....? Surely the settling in comes from a string untensioned being put under tension, and then finding a level after "a few shots". So if its wrong after sighters you unstring it (ie un-tension it), alter its length, and then re-tension it......back to square one. I'm not criticising - I'm in no position to know if this is right or not - but it sounds like the archery equivalent to an endless loop
