Are there more suitable sights out there?

Thanks for all of your replies

Despite all that has been said about cheap (ie cartel) sights on other threads, as a beginners sight they do the job fine. I have had my cartel Q sight for 2 years, and have had no problems with the thing. It cost under 30 quid.

In fact, pretty much my entire setup consists of the cheap stuff (see profile), and that hasn't stopped me getting to first class and beyond with it (shot a bowman score the other weekend ). The only area where the money buys you points almost immediately is arrows - do buy platinums (xx75s) if you can.

Essentially, buy intermediate club level stuff now (like the evo 2 or similar), and upgrade it when you're experienced enough to appreciate the difference and cope with the faster setup carbon/foam limbs and carbon arrows produces.
