| It's a good idea, the problems though may be time, venues or clubs to run the comps. Here in Scotland, very few clubs run competitions, often they run more than one (our club runs four, three of them two day events), so finding room in the calendar or the will to do another comp is hard to find.
Don't know what it's like further south though.
Many clubs have grounds suitable for practice but not necessarily suitable to hold a competition, which can limit what may be done.
Maybe archers on the forum could ask round their clubs to see what the feeling would be for one of them to run one for next year!
