finger tab question...

Hi all

Ok now this is gonna sound like a stupid question but hey pride comes before a fall.

Fingertabs.
I need one.
One I have been using is now very worn and offers next to no protection anymore. It was a 2nd hand DIY tab made by a field shooter I met and was a double layer basic tab with a finger spacer added.

As part of the second hand set-up I bought, a used platform tab was in there.
Had a play with it and I now see the benefit personally of a platform tab - its a far more definate feel on the jaw so far easier to find your anchor accurately.

Trouble is... its too small.

If I actually shot with it I would be picking up pieces of my finger tips from just over the line.

So, the dilemma, I want to get one in time for this weekend.

Went online and : they come is sizes
Small, Medium, Large.

How do I know (warned you about the stupid question) what size I am?
I cant go and try them as nearest shop is about a 90 minute drive each way so would cost more in petrol lol, and I really want one for this weekend

Could I simply buy a large and cut it down or would say the finger spacer be too big if I was actually a medium?

Is it obvious?
Small - teen/lady
Medium - gents normal
Large - Mr Giant hand?
*edit* Just seen an 'Extra Large'. Presumably this is for Mr Giant Hand's dad?

No idea -I would say my hands are average - hahaha - what size is average?

Also - anyone able to recommend a decent one? needs platform and spacer
Spigarelli looks pretty good.
But open to suggestions!
