Thought I'd get on this before I really start talking on this forum.
My name is Simon and I have a commercial interest. (sounds like an AA meeting!!)
I work at Custom Built Archery in Nottinghamshire, setting up equipment and helping archers, and have done for the last 3 1/2 years.
I have also worked previously at Quicks in Waterlooville and did so for 5 years.
Now I've got that out the way
The reason I've joined this forum is so I can talk to archers about archery (and non archery) stuff. Having been in this sport for 20-someodd years now, the job I do and the fact that I've been from the bottom, right up to the top, back down and working my way up again means that I've got a fair bit of knowledge in the equipment, techniques and general understanding of archery. I will pass on my personal views on here about products, technique and the current state of the weather?! as everyone else does and I will be able to advise people if they have a particular question about CBA but what I will not do is tell you where to shop. I believe that everyone has the right to their own choice.
I should also point out that my final commercial interest is that I'm sponsored by Specsavers opticians. I'm not gonna try and sell you glasses either
