I had the pleasure of spending a good part of last Sunday with Pip (and his Dad and their Head Bowyer - Fred) last Sunday when he visited our club shoot.
I have met Pip several times before, but the first time I have had the opportunity to spend that much time with him - I certainly learned a lot, his knowledge is enclopedic and his theories are logically thought out. He is also a very pleasant chap- as are Roy (his dad - a founder member of
NFAS, who can still shoot with the big boys) and Fred!
I gather he is going to be showing some of his new bow performance measurement techniques and discussing the implications at the Chiltern event - it will certainly be very interesting.
I actually thought it was £10, but you are correct - it is £30 ... not cheap but I suspect it will be well worthwhile if you are interested in traditional archery.
I still plan on going.
