| Both my sons shot target and then field. They were converted the first day they tried a field competition. I got fed up sitting and watching so started shooting as well.
Tried target and although I had a good time and was able to get some tips on better form and control, I prefer field shooting.
Target for me is too full of rules and regulations which govern not only the shooting (fine), but what you must wear as well. I don't hide in the woods wearing cammo, but I prefer not to be told what to wear when i'm having fun.
I would however like to give target another go again. Just got to find a club nearby. |
