I've been thinking about getting a longbow for awhile, but didn't think I'd be able to afford one. Then one came up that perfectly suited my poundage and budget. I took delivery yesterday at The American shoot.
I'm sure Bald Eagle or stever will be along soon to remind me of all the different woods used, although I do know that the dark wood is purpleheart (makes sense for me, doesn't it?). Stever threw in some arrows for me to use with it. I'm off to Green Park with my club next weekend for a fun shoot. It's all barebow and trad, so it'll be a good opportunity for me to try it out.
