I shoot Limited compound, so no release aid and no scope I shot a 547 for a portsmouth last sunday. yes I get the advantage of a 24 lbs holding weight but if I had been using a 24 lbs recurve and had put the arrows in the same place the score would have been nearer 577. So I was wondering how well recuvre archers would score if they had to use the small ten which is usually put down as an X on the score sheet.
