| Good point MM - that is exactly how I had to pick mine as I couldn't see the target at 80 yards!!
Also, don't be fooled into thinking you must have a 'v-bar' either, take your time and beg/ borrow / steal (maybe not the latter) to test things out. If you have a good local supplier, they might let you play a little at their shop.
