I thought about you when I made the point, as I know that was your problem.
The end of my rod sat on the inner 9 ring at 100yds,
(they don't call it a longrod for nothing) so it made it much easier to sight on the gold at that distance.
Still couldn't hit the bŁ**%y thing consistently enough though.
