Multi rod Beiter v's Single carbon rod

I've an indoor setup, Hoyt Ultratec with Beiter multi-rod and twins and the bow's tuned fine for weight etc, but my new outdoor setup ( Switchback ) has made me consider whether I should opt for a new stablization setup or just use the same as indoor...

reason I ask is that I've noticed quite a number of archers now seeming to switch from multi-rod to single rod ( mosty carbon Doinkers ) for outdoor field and I wonder whether that would be a better setup for FITA. Any clues?
