| I had to cut my arrows by 12mm when I got the Helix. It is the smoothest, quietest, best feeling riser I have ever shot. I also think (and this is purely subjective based on my experiences) that the Helix may not be the ideal riser for the novice or someone fairly new to the sport. When you get the shot right the Helix is fantastic and I've shot a fair few pb's with it, but when you dont get it right it isn't as 'forgiving' as some others.
