Wanted for testing
Border Archery are looking for second hand limbs.
We plan to test top limbs to make a good estimation of limb performance.

We are looking for G3, Winnex, Inno, Extreams.
The sizes we are looking for at 68" 40lbs.

The reason for 40 is the higher the poundage the clearer the difference will be.

We are looking for reasonable offers, on good condition limbs.

The tests will include
Speed,
Rigidity,
heat tolerance
energy storage.

We are open to offers.

we need one pair of each if possible and its first come first served, based on condition and price.

Sid, I have a pair of 68" 40lb Winex in excellent condition which I am willing to part with. I am currently using a pair of Border HEX4s.

How about a trade for a pair of 38lb HEX5s when they are available.

I take it that swapping my old 70" 32# KAP Challengers for some shiny new, top of the range border is out of the question.....

I hope the results of the tests will be revealed to all when the time comes. This will prove rather interesting as I'm actually considering a set of new limbs pretty soon.

I "borrowed" a copy, or specifically read one on the counter, lol.

It's a two page spread on modern limbs, that happens to forget half of the limbs commercially available (Including Border), says nothing for the first page, then gives a tiny graph and winges on how difficult it is to carry out the tests on the second. Giving personal opinion and very little data as to which limbs are best (from the very limited range tested).

A complete waste and seems to be another filler-in for the magazine.
