The Official American 2007 Thank You Thread

Quote of the day:
Morphymick: "Stockings are much more comfortable than tights."

Got there just in time for the start of 50 yards. Scored 223 at 50 yards and 212 at 40 yards. Since my scores dropped per distance, I'd obviously have cleaned 60 yards, so morally I'm calling it 705 for the American.

Great shoot, many thanks to Dave and everyone who pitched in. But the raffle was fixed against me. Muh!

Another thanks to all who helped organise a top class shoot. Good company, good food, and the Sid`s from Border in attendance, offering loads of interesting info and tips.
Realy enjoyed the day, John.

Amen to all that. I am pleased that I narrowly outscored TJ, despite shooting 30 more arrows than he. ANd Littlest picked up the Marmite in the raffle, so that's us sorted for another year. Nice to have a few more faces to names. And especial thanks to Dave and Brian for encouraging me through the torment.

Yes, it was a really good day so thanks to everyone involved in organising. Personally I was absolutely gutted that I couldn't shoot (apologies to the other occupants of target 4). Sid and Sid were great company - and the future for target recurve limbs looks fantastic...

Now HONESTLY! Since when was it furPLACE?
It truly was a fantastic day, much better than following my mother and doing the junior great north run! (like they could get me to!)
Glad people liked the BFGs, although slightly shocked at the large hunk left over!
Any chance of pictures Clicki?
Thanks dave for organising another great day!
Bring on the frostbite!
