Mark New Posts as 'Read'

Here's what I would like to be able to do but have not yet worked out how, or if, it can be done:

1. Log into AIUK
2. Click on "New Posts"
3. Skim through the titles
4. Mark those I'm not interested in as "Read"
5. Refresh the list and work through those threads I do want to read.

Can anyone advise if this is possible?

Don't think so. Best to read the posts you're interested in and then mark everything as read... (quick links - mark forums read). This is what I usually do.

That's what I normally do but like Florence, if I have not logged on for a few days the 'New post' count can be pretty large. I guess I'll just add it to my wish list and carry on as usual!

(Just trying to avoid that "3 word story thread".......... )

The approach I tend to use is....
  1. Scan the list
  2. Open the threads I want to read in new tab within the browser
  3. Mark all threads as read
  4. Read through the tabbed threads

Works for me!
