First Icon is Digg (Digg / about us)
2nd Icon is Del.isio.us (del.icio.us/about)
3rd is Technorati (Technorati: Home)
4th is Furl (LookSmart's Furl - features)

They all have varying functions but the main theme is either social networking (you can submit links from AIUK to be read by others) or link storing (you can store AIUK links in your account to keep them all in one place). You can find out more about each of them by using the links above.

For AIUK, each link or thread submitted to one of the above means better Search Engine Optimisation for AIUK (e.g. the more pages that link to AIUK the further we get up the search engines and the easier we are to find).

AIUK is not that hard to find. I was only looking for something about Arc systeme sights and AIUK came on top of the list. Opened the link and I ended up hooked!!! Oh lucky day for me

Hehe, cheers, Phil, you can never do too much SEO optimisation though. There's still lots of keywords we're not getting to the top with

For the icons and medals go to the front page on the left side there's a navigation box, at the bottom it should have an "AIUK Awards" link. (The icons need updating with a couple of the recent shoots).

For the bolds and different colours have a look at View Forum Leaders which can be found above the What's Going On box on the main forum page.
