Journal sharing with your coach

Can anyone help me please?
I've started a journal and would like my new coach to be able to read and comment on it. I've made it private and enabled his username to see it etc. trouble is when he goes into journals he can't see it.
Thanks in advance
John

By "can't see it" do you mean he can't see your journal at all, or can't see the entries within your journal?

John, you need to make sure your coach is on your actual buddy list. So go to his/her profile and click on the the Add To My Buddies link. They he/she should be able to read the entries marked for their eyes only.

Hope that makes sense.

He can't see the journal at all Tom ,but I've added a public page to hopefully make the journal visible but with a private area and I'll post the result

Checked all permutations of settings with a buddy while he was on the phone and private makes journal entry invisible to all and anything other setting is visible to all.
Anyone got a lnk for an online journal that you can control?

Have those people put your name on their buddy list?

If you can't get that to work, why not just write your journal and then email to them?

The journal software we use was written for a much earlier version of the forum and so has problems. I've patched it as best I can to keep it running with the latest updates but unfortunately can't guarantee that everything's going to work!

There's new journal software coming soon
