Hi there, I suggest you contact Mike at The Archery Warehouse (01525 229374 or sales@thearcherywarehouseuk.co.uk ) of The Archery Warehouse websiteto confirm it will be ok. Just in case.

If I can't get this sorted out at the club tomorrow night is there any way of validating this so I can shoot with everyone on Saturday?

Cheers

Well I've just got home from SoSo and I have to tell all those who decided not to come for whatever reason that they missed an excellent day. The field was perfect, Mike P and his crew could not have been more welcoming and if only the wind hadn't been quite so- obvious - it would have been perfect. We shot, we had lunch with a barbeque, we joked and chatted, we shot some more and then packed up because the rain was due about 4.00pm. By ten to we were all inside Mike's wondrous establishment and, with the precision of a NASA countdown, rain could be heard on the roof at 4.00 exactly!

Thank you Mike for your hospitality, and to everyone else for being there - it was great to see old friends again, and meet some new ones. I hope it's not the last time we meet at The Archery Warehouse!

I'd like to second that and thank everyone for their warm welcome and the brief use of the party tent ;-)

Shooting in winds like today was a new and enjoyable experience, no honestly I'm still shooting m so I'm happy, and I only came away with one bruise, which is apparently due to me having "girly" arms, bloody cheek

More like "bloody arm" from the way that one was swelling up.

Oh yes - the tent!

Big marquee thingy that would have been great to have lunch in - until it disappeared over the hedge! Something about 'battleship chains' comes to mind - they would have been useful!

it was great again to catch up with people I haven't seen for far too long.

Simon and I probably had one of the funniest head to head's you'll ever likely to have, especially when we swapped bows. I think that's probably the strongest wind i've ever shot in, but it made it all the more fun.

Thanks to Mike for letting us break his new tent, and sorry to mrs robbo who put so much 'managerial training' to good work, it wasn't easy getting 4/5 guys to work together but she coordinated us like a well oiled machine.

hope to see all again soon.

Although it stopped raining the wind picked up and each time you went on the line it was different, arrows were going in the boss at a sideways slant.

Sorry I didn't make it, everyone! I was having a bit of trouble walking in a straight line, and so driving might have been hazardous! Hopefully my stupid ear will sort itself out soon. I had made the fruitcake already, and Eliza is very upset with me!

Next time!
