Info from Quicks

I have just finished a call with Quicks re: outdoor shooting at their venue.

They have two outdoor targets that are apparently fixed in place. there are walk back markers from the face, one measured in Metres, the other in Yards.
Depending how close the bosses are to each other shooting differing distances on the two targets might be dangerous.

As there are only two targets we will have to fit in with other archers/customers who want to use the facilities.

One of the bosses is in a poor shape - which they are hoping to get replaced, so we might have a buried up to the nock situation with highter poundage bows & almost certainly will for those of you sho shoot machines.

The cost is £3.50 per hour, and we have to check in at the the store before commencing - and I assume after finishing.

They are happy for a group to turn up, but we may have to do a fair amount of standing around eating cake, chatting, comparing rests, strings, risers etc, complaining about the wind, saying "it looks like rain", "nice day for shooting" and other standard waiting line banter etc.

Considering they sell these things, I find that a poor show.

Still, we'll be there, with food & drink as directed.
Looking forward to it.

I was born for situations like this. Risers to compare, buttons to stiffen, limbs to grapple with... the day will fly by.

You're glad you invited me now, I bet.
