There's no problem with people taking pictures, but please do not force someone to have their picture taken and if you do get a picture of someone (individually or as part of a group) who has expressed a preference not to be captured, please contact them before publishing it anywhere. I too, am a member of the don't take my picture brigade..please respect that. thanks. T.

Though unless they're hideous I don't mind pictures of me used in this context, but I respect anyone's wish to privacy. As I assume does schme1440.I think the matter at hand is ensuring everyone's wishes are respected, but that nobody is going to suddenly find themselves excommunicated from this forum (or get an arrow 'tween the ears) for the having a camera with them.

| I've been to every AIUK event and I typically take the most photos, but I know who doesn't like to be photographed. So if I have taken a photo of someone (even if they're in the background), I don't post it. Or if possible, I crop them out. I understand that you're enthusiastic about your first social, Schme, but it's best to take it easy, get to know people first and the lay of the land. The difference here is that you want to do video and show it to the world, not just AIUK. That's a whole other kettle of fish. We don't have a hard and fast photography policy for AIUK. If you were to take photos at a competition, you'd have to sign a permission form. We're not going that far, but you have to respect people's wishes. Perhaps better if you announce you'll be videoing the shooting line to give people a chance to step off the line.

| I would just like to point out that if any images of someone are posted on the web and some one does not approve then please contact me and I will gladly remove the image from the host and , in the case of videos, re edit to remove you from the scene. I would like to appologise in advance to anyone that may be offended by any images that may get posted. Please let me know and I will sort it out. However please be aware these will purely be fun images and there will be no seriousness involved. If however you would love to be immortalised in still or moving images please let me know. I will also be able to facilitate if you wish to borrow my image recording device for any training purposes on the day.

![]() The point I'm trying to make is that you don't take photos first and ask later.
