top notch day, I really do think that these thing are getting better and better, can only imagine in a couple of years (me thinks the shops soon aren't going to be able to cope with the numbers turning up, i'm sure their tills will try and keep up!!

Steve top bloke again for many reasons, one the organisation and setting up, and the other, those present at the end of the meal will testify to, you truly do want to help all in this world, even when you don't need to, stop being so damn nice.... DID YOU GET THE BOW?

really think the meal and beer after made all the difference, a very welcome addition to the days proceedings

great pics Click, all of my best side, the back of my head!!!!

Hey guys! Had a great day myself too! Was fab to meet so many of you and actually to shoot this time rather than spend the whole time in the indoor range sorting arrows lol

Rach's brownies, Jo's cheesecake and Kates fairy cakes were all wonderful and I am very envious of their dessert making skills

Joe and Kate's flatbows were cool and it was great to give them a try, even if I did miss more than I hit and it was looking like I'd lost 2 arrows at one point! hehe

Apologies to Neil for consistantly thinking his name was Ian!! Don't know what happened there but I'd had hardly any sleep the night before after a works christmas do so that's my excuse

I was only sorry I couldn't come along to the pub for drinks and a meal though as I had to be in Ealing to look at rooms to rent As it was I was nearly late for the first one thanks to the traffic at Kew Bridge but it was all worth it as I think I've found a decent place with some nice housemates in a fantastic looking old semi so fingers crossed I'll be in there the night before the Ironman Frostbite!!

Looking forward to seeing you all again and actually staying the distance next time! hehe

Pete

It was funny enough looking at the face of the maître d' at the pub when we all just kept filing in. "Got a table for 50...?"

That being said I think the pub staff were fantastic as we did not even have to get up and get drinks, very good service.

As usual, it was a great day. Huge respect to Steve, without whose efforts we would be just another forum. It's so easy to turn up to something like that and have a great time without appreciating that someone has to actually organise it! Thank you Steve, and I'm sure everybody there will join me in that.

Really good to see everybody again, and especially good to meet new faces. Huge thanks to Jo and Kate for the practical affirmation that the art of baking lives (Eva loved that blueberry and white chocolate flapjack, Kate!)

And also a real delight that Eliza joined us - Rachel, she's gorgeous and I do hope she comes again - maybe Joe as well next time?
