I'm new to the forum, and I also forgot to post scores in time.

However those who are asking to be removed from the VGP becasue they consider the late posting of scores to be wrong, are you not missing something here?

Surley the VGP is just a bit of fun? If one wants more serious competition then go to a tournament............?

goat - It's a much my right to withdraw as it's yours to be too daft to know what day of the week it is.
Scores are what I shoot for and would never ask for special treatment, I agree that 'it's a bit of fun' but if that's how you really felt why didn't you just 'laugh' and say the next month would do?

think its time for everyone to take a chill pill people take up a sport for lots of differant reasons , some for fun , some to be competitive, some to strive to be the best.

the rule is submit by the end of the month , if Dave has given some grace last month so be it

If you want to be in the VGP great , if you do not great , look at me i am last but one in my division , cannot get them all on the target and being beaten by girls , i will try and shoot better this month and catch you up

Not that it is ANY of YOUR business, but the reason that my score did not get put in in time was that at short notice I had to drive from Cornwall to North Lincolnshire to visit my mother who had just been admitted to Hospital in what was thought to be the terminal stages of cancer. Fortunatly she managed to pull through but is now in a Hospice and we the family are all just waiting for 'the' phone call.

At that particular time archery was no longer my highest priority so 'Forgive me for being too DAFT' to remember to enter my score before dashing off

I am very sorry to hear that and apologise to you Alex my remarks were to goat As lowfat says this is way too trivial to waste any more time over.
