Why a half FITA ?

Why has the July 720 suddenly turned into a half FITA. That really is a pain in the butt round that is hardly ever shot!

That sucks may not be bothering with that then, unless I can do it in the week and walk forward for each distance will still have to mess round with faces, no way I'm messing about during a club day, Was looking forward to doing a couple of 70M rounds. Plus I had already planned my clubs summer shoots around the AIUK schedule, I cant change them at late notice.

Glad I saw this otherwise I would have shot a Fita 70 for the month.

It might not be shot at your club but it is at mine. Yes it is a pain changing distances regularly and then changing face as well, but I believe it is more of a challenge just shooting one distance.
As for not bothering with it pwiles, don't then!

I want to I have not missed a round since last summer, but it is going to be really awkward, after I had already arranged to do 70's.

Although personally i was looking forward to the Fita70

Is it ok ot shoot a full fita but submit only the arrow scores for the 1st 1 1/2 dozen from each distance giving the appropriate score for a 1/2 Fita ?

and if it had to change would have prefered a St George/Albion/Windsor mix

Me too - ah well.

But what a great idea Steve! I'm doing a FITA on Sunday, if this is an approved method of entering a score I'll do the same.

In the interest of fairness and to keep everyone that may have missed the original discussion happy, I'm going to put up a poll sometime today with a list of rounds that have been suggested for July. Please vote on it and the majority will choose the July round. I'll then send out an email to let everyone know what round is to be shot.
