Even the top score of 632 by John KR only contained 20 golds
Can anybody confirm it that it is only 10s that should be counted and secondly does it matter.
Chuffed to bits with my score. However the 2 golds... Loads of 9's, but very few 10's.

I think this happened last year too for some people. In the end it is for fun. Should I lose on golds, not an issue.

Let's give Dave a break on work for the mo', after all he went through on this months round

It is for fun, or should be, but even so it becomes pretty pointless if we aren't all playing the same game. And yes, Dave deserves a break. But when he is next in amongst the VGP (next year will do) if the label gets altered to 'tens' on metric rounds rather than 'golds' it wont be a bad thing.

Talking

I also use the 10s only on a metric round, and 9s when the imperial rounds.
Not too bothered about winning or loosing, well I didnt think so, depends if its on the gold count or not

Discussed to death here: So what is a gold, a nine or ten or both?

Best to use "golds" as that's what's on "real" competition forms... and make the distinction clear in the rules.

For metric rounds, only Xs and 10s count towards the "Golds" total.

indeed discussed to death - but with a confusing conclusion to the poll (not for me, but evidently for some...). Incidently I have come across scoresheets with '10' and 'X' columns too, which gives rise to further confusion as an 'X' is also a '10', so scoring an inner ten would give you a one in each column!
