Thumbs up Today's shoot at P & s

Hi All

Can I just say what a fantastic day today has been. Everyone was so welcoming and the shoot went really well. What a good atmosphere.

I have never shot in competition before but if today was anything to go by, then I will be entering more in the future.

Cannot wait for next year's shoot.

Well done everyone who turned up today.

Hope to see you all again soon.

What a great day! Fab weather, fab bunch of people. Scored 652 on the American round, and should have done better but let myself down at 40 yards. Great to meet so many of you, especially Murray and JohnK -- your posts here and on Sagi have been extremely helpful to me as an archer.

Despite being perfectly positioned to rig the raffle (since I was running it ), I was banjaxed. I bought my tickets early, but they were pulled out late. Still, I came away with a big bar of choccie and a tiny plastic bow-and-arrow set -- Yay!

Q: Why does Clicki carry a riding crop in her quiver? Was she telling the truth when she assured me that it doesn't really hurt? I didn't take up the offer to find out (and I didn't take the raffle ticket books out of my back pockets when she was near).

Q: Will the missing arrows ever be found? Will Kellog be kind to my Navs? Only time will tell.

Question one? She does use it. I have the welt to show for it. She lies.

Question two - she's lying next to me and she promises not to shoot the back out of them - though i'm sorry if I manage the same feat. And will they be found? Yes. Arrows always get found. We'll raid her case later on.
