T'was a great day, thank you to everyone that helped organise it!

I'm sorry we had to dash off, but we only just made the evening do we had to attend as it was.

It was an excellent day though, and my head-to-head match with miles certainly has left long lasting scars, lol.

Cheers, Kae. (pronounced kay, lol)

It certainly was an outstanding day. Plenty of sunshine and a nice breeze to keep us cool!

Thanks to Furface for doing the scoring on our target.

It really was great to put some "animated" faces to names - so many nice people, so little time to chat! It was good to see everyone shooting too - I even have a pic of "da boss" with a bow in his hands!

The food was oustanding and in some cases very inventive!! The clicki sandwich will never be forgotten! YUM and more sweet stuff than you can shake an arrow at.

Thanks for the Marmite LMP... for that bribery I won't post *THE* pic

Hope you feel better soon Littlest Furface!

Hope everyone got home safely and I look forward to seeing you all again in the not too distant future!

The head to head was an epic - I don't think we were more than 6 points apart through the whole competition. That's nerve racking - when you drop your first arrow and the rest all have to go in the gold...

Louise and myself both had an excellent day - thanks go to those that made it happen. The AIUK events are brilliant social shoots, and this was one of the best i've been to this year. Long may they continue!

Congratulations to KevinH who won Gents recurve - i've lost all the control in my shoulders and arms from shooting.

First Annual AIUK VPG a success!!!

First and foremost, thank you Dave for going above the call of duty to get the First Annual AIUK VPG - The American organised. Everything was spot on. Not to mention, you're a wonderful guy all around!

Thanks to all the mods for chipping in and helping: Furface on scoring, LMP on signing in, morphy for providing the hot water and organising catering, Tim on the raffle, Cakey on grounds detail, KevinH for locking up so Dave could go home! Am I forgetting someone?

Thanks to Tarkers for driving the southern contingent up to Preston. You had to put up with a lot with the full boot, the kids in the backseat and me snoring in the front. It was like a family holiday! And you didn't kill us either!

Thanks to Porly and Ruth for providing the music and entertainment on the long ride. I'm going to pass on the gobstoppers and Milky Babies, though.

Thanks to Murray for driving all the way from Bo'ness. I didn't think you'd come, but I'm glad you did. It was great to see you again. Thanks for the lovely gifts.

Tracey, thanks for the...erm...visual stimulation We were rockin' the power of purple on target 4!

And a big thank you to all that made the effort to attend. We wouldn't have live events without your participation. It was lovely to meet those of you I haven't before! JohnK, your voice is as lyrical in person as it is on the phone. Lancecpl and Gwildor, you guys are my new cheering section! Stever, thanks for bringing my new bent stick, arrows and a lovely big bar of Galaxy! Mutley, I'm sorry I didn't twig to who you were right away, but you're lovely, as is Kae (I knew all along it was pronounced Kay!!)

Thanks everyone for the amazing selection of food you brought (well, it *looked* wonderful, I never had any cake, but I brought a slice of Helena's BFG home with me!! ).

Last but not least, thank you P & S for letting us shoot on your new grounds!

I carry it because it's sparkly purple, because I can and because it saves my arrows from getting bent when I need to punish naughty archers!

Question one? She does use it. I have the welt to show for it. She lies.
That's a bold statement, Miles! Compared to the bareshaft, the crop hurts much less! So I'm NOT lying! Besides, TJ, you know I'd never hurt the man with the "come to bed eyes"!

Big congrats to Dave and thanks to all who helped organise and run a great day.

With a great atmosphere, fun people and no nagging judges with that’s the wrong colour green!!!! oh and the shooting wasn’t bad either.

So looking forward roll on the next event and to all those who didn’t come you missed a gem DON’T miss the next one.

I must have missed clickerati’s big stick, which I most unusual because with my big feet they usually end up in my mouth and I end up getting a slap. Which is never ever deserved (much).

Big thank you to everyone !

What more can I say that hasn't been said already?

I had a fantastic day, the best in quite a while. Some of you know I've been going through a rough patch at the moment and I really needed a pick-me-up like yesterday. Great to meet so many of you at long last, and I can't wait to do it again
