| I'll be at Green Park that weekend, I'm afraid. Guess I'll just have to make a special delivery to "beast" you with "something rather large" on another date of your choice.

| I did ask the question a while ago, but can't find a reply anywhere. Do those of us that can't make the 'proper' shoot still have the full month, or does the season effectively end with the shoot on the 23rd?

| I assume because the system is automated that you will have the full month. People may want to shoot another round even if they attended the American, we will need to wait for Dave to answer though ![]()

Sorry, Tel, I must have missed it! No, even those people who shoot the 'live round' could still shoot another American and submit the score up until the last day of September.

| DIRECTIONS to The Bowmen of Pendle & Samlesbury's Ground A Map And if you don't see this when you come through the gate you're in the wrong field*! Directions can also be found by going to The AA website and using their route finder. Your destination shold be Nabs Head Lane (Ithink it's the only one in the UK). For those of you citing coffee and tea shortages as a reason for not attending, please sign up now. Food: Following in the footsteps of the last social shoot, it would be preferable if everyone brought something other than cake Hopefully our catering manager MorphyMick will be along soon with a food thread ![]() 'Facilities' There will be a portaloo on site and yes it does work and no you're in no danger of being eaten by the sheep in the next field. Turkey Shoot To keep everyone entertained while the final scoring is done, Tarkwin has organised a turkey shoot. Raffle There will be a raffle held after the round has been shot. Dave @ Arrowhead UK has kindly donated a prize that's well worth winning and I believe we have an Aardvark from Aardvark Archery up for grabs. | I can't promise anything, but . . . I'm supposed to be going to Maidenhead next weekend for a party. However, it's being organised very late in the day so if it all falls through/gets postpooned I might well pop up to say hello, if that's okay. Who knows, I might even bring my bow, although I have doubts about hitting 60 yards with my fat allys. |

J, just get that bow out (anything you haven't sold to me), and go shoot. You know it will do you good. Hope to see you soon back down our way. FW | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
