Leave the American at P&S please. It is a nice place to shoot and the 1pm start was a wonderful idea. I will bring my confederate flag next year

No point in dragging this thread up again. The Co shoots have already been established for this summer. Let's just concentrate on shooting them. We have a full summer of Co's ahead of us.

The American is at P&S. End of story.

Before people get back to bitching about 'how far it is' to get to any location, let's just remember that we can only do an all-AIUK event like the American because this is a (relatively) small country. The Americans themselves wouldn't have a hope in hell of running something similar, nor the Aussies, nor the archers of a great many other countries. Oh yes, they could run something highly competitive like a national qualifying shoot to select an olympic team - but where would be the fun it that sort of environment?

In short, we have a brilliant advantage in being able to run something like the American, so let's celebrate that fact and leave out the carping. As for organising, I think I posted something elsewhere about the hard work falling on too few shoulders. I'm happy to volunteer to organise or assist with anything in my part on the world - let's have some offers from others who so far have not been involved other than participants! Whose up for it?
