The FITA 60 is a round that was introduced by FITA a couple of years ago, specifically for cadets shooting 60m. It is the same format as a FITA 70 (or FITA 720). It is one of the rounds that can be used by Cadet girls for qualification for the Junior Squad/team

How are time restrictions relevant? The FITA 720 and the cadet version are both 6 dozen arrows, so take the same time.
I thought the difference between schedules 1 and 2 was that schedule 1 had the full size 100 yard/90 m "mens" rounds and schedule 2 had the full size womens ones. I agree that the 60m round would be more appropriate in a lower schedule and would much prefer to shoot the adult version.

FITAs and Herefords (as mentioned in LMP's original post asking why we weren't shooting longer rounds) are a lot more arrows so take a lot longer to shoot, that's why time restrictions are relevant.

No Schedule 1 has longer distances than Schedule 2, Schedule 2 has longer distances than Schedule 3 etc. No discrimination between Ladies and Gents is taken into account.

I'm with Ignoramus on the assumption that division 1 was based on men's rounds and division 2 on ladies - probably because last year we did do the fita's and york / herefords. I wont have any call to shoot at 60 metres as practice will be at 70 & 90.

You can't please all of the people all of the time
