Progress

Dave, Just a curiosity thing ( the way I'm shooting this month!) - I seem to remember you mentioning the progression up the table somewhere but can't find it - are the steps from one division to another defined, by handicap for example?
Just thinking it would be easier to set a personal goal if you knew where the goalposts were

Hi Tel,

Current Division placement is roughly defined by the scores you've submitted when the divisions were created (if you've shot more than one score it's an average).

Rough guide is:

Division 1: Average Submitted score of 570 upwards
Division 2: Average Submitted score of between 541 and 569
Division 3: Average Submitted score of between 514 and 540
Division 4: Average Submitted score of between 488 and 513

By the end of the current league in March, if you're average score for the Portsmouth & FITA rounds fall into the next division up you'll be promoted for the 06/07 league, if they're lower, then you'll go down a division.

It's all been a bit rough this year, hopefully, the 06/07 league will be a bit more refined and organised!

The division idea was a really good one. It gives me something to work towards.

Division 2 here I come...but maybe not this season

Edit: woohoo...just noticed that was my 100th post!
