I think a mixture of different rounds makes the indoor season much more interesting.

I know the Cumbrian archers have the oppertunity to shoot a FITA 18m and a FITA 25m in November. What is the best bribe for Dave in order to get a FITA 25m for the November slot.

In all seriousness the only round I think shouldn't be included is the 25m. Its all very well if you've got a range that allows it, but most haven't and if you are one of those there isn't much point in entering at all.

FITA 25 may be a bit doubtful as there's not many clubs can shoot that distance inside.

I'm currently thinking of:

October: Portsmouth
November: FITA18
December: Short metric III (Ironman Frostbite shoot)
January: Worcester
February: Portsmouth
March: Portsmouth (AIUK Birthday Weekender shoot)

My club only shoots indoors once a week for just under two hours, so it's a push to do any round, especially if there are a lot of members on the night. I typically have to use scores from tournaments - all but one are Portmouths. It will also mean that we have to buy target faces that aren't 60cm.

Spare a thought for those of us with limited facilities.

Short of a full referendum that sounds good to me Dave!

(By the way I thought the pirate pants/dance thing was a link to a pic - shame! )

Tbh, I'd rather do a FITA25 as there are a few comps I could enter to shoot it. But I don't think Dave is going to make everyone happy, so he's proposed schedule sounds quite good.
