It's chucking it down here by the bucketload

I'm going up in a bit to stake the bosses out and measure up. I may be some time...

Important info for those shooting
We will assemble at around 11:00 for an 11:30 start - earlier if people are there and ready.

Weather - likely be to be very wet underfoot; forecast is rain or light snow. Waterproofs and suitable footwear are strongly recommended.

The clubhouse will be open, but catering will be restricted to hot drinks and soup. You will need to bring your own sarnies etc.

Facilities for disabled - toilet; access to clubhouse. Shooting area inaccessible for wheelchairs without a good deal of assistance.

Most of those shooting have been to Pentref before, so you know the drill...

We'll be shooting on the field where we normally have the practice butts, using our normal field bosses. A standard 'target' shoot, this ain't!

Prize for silliest hat; other spot prizes throughout shoot.

The organiser (points to self) will be very appreciative of offers of help afterwards to clear the field...

I completely failed to get the boss supports hammered into the ground this afternoon before running out of A) light and B) strength. If anyone is able to turn up at Pentref early tomorrow morning I'd really, really appreciate some help because I lack the required physical strength to heft the mallet properly.
