RE: AAAARGH!!!!.....

Shot a 6 gold end, 1st end (then it went downhill a bit).

Went to shoot another round last night and discovered the club containers had been broken into, all new padlocks, so couldn't get to any equipment.

Went to submit last weeks score, tonight, and the rest is history.

Ah well, there's always tomorrow, if the rain stays off.

Going to the pub to drown my sorrows.

RE: AAAARGH!!!!.....

Was practising a short metric tonight, thought the target seemed a little smaller than i remembered, then one of the more senior archers pointed out that I had a portsmouth face on the boss. Someone was obviously practising or scoring for the league on tuesday night (Julie ????). Still haven't managed to shoot my round yet, probably next tuesday as we have a club shoot on sunday.

RE: AAAARGH!!!!.....

the idea was to shoot the round, shot six arrows, was absolute ****, threw a wobbly and left the field, end of story, not Portsmouth score, probably won't get one done this month after all. Told you I would be propping the league up from the bottom didn't I?

Hi Julie,

http://www.bowmen.org.uk/league#(link in top menu bar)

Use your AIUK password and username to sign in, select August from the drop down menu on the left and press submit. From the row of buttons across the top select either Recurve, Compound, Longbow, Barebow or Compound Ltd. 'fraid I haven't got the league bit working yet though!

Winners of each class are featured on the front page of the forum and have a nice shiney trophy added to their posting profile.

RE: Scores for league

PS:#When more people start shooting League scores I'll work out some kind of handicap/division thingy. If anyone has any ideas for how this should be done, drop me a line or post here.
