The Ironman Frostbite 2006

Registration for the AIUK Ironman Frostbite live event is now open.

The event will take place on Saturday 30th December at 11am and will be a short metric III round (3doz at 30m 3 doz at 20m).

Locations lined up so far:
  • Buckinghamshire
  • Cumbria
  • Lancashire
  • Leicestershire
  • Yorkshire
  • Argyll
  • Northumberland
  • North Wales
Hopefully we'll get a few more venues - and the more people we get the warmer it'll be

Cost for the event will be £6.00 to cover venue/club fees, and target faces.

Contrary to popular myth, you don't have to shoot in your underwear.

And yep, there'll be a badge.....

Registration is available on line or by post, click here for details.

I will see what the family is up to on the 30th but I think I should be OK, I will start rigging a torch up to my bow I suspect it will be pretty dark when the event starts at 11PM

As I Have an event 1/2 hour from my home I really have no excuse

Cool Frostbite! Dress Code

As has been talked about before! Really as its the darkest period of the year perhaphs a suggestion of only the brightest day-glow colours available to man woman child and beast be worn on the day. As well as a few xmas dec for the bow.

Now we start hoping for good weather.

The only question is what is good?
80deg F and sunny, 2' of snow, -10 and frosty or 2" of rain

and any for the first three would be different to shoot in.......
