Ironman Frostbite Cumbria RESULTS

[SVL]

Field Set-Up Started at 9:15am and finished at 10:15am, taking a little longer than normal due to the muddy field. After a few frantic telephone calls Green Goddess arrived in time to start shooting but we were still waiting for Southpaw, who thought we were starting at 11am, even though the 10am start had been mentioned a couple of times (i.e. at the Christmas Cracker shoot and last Thursday morning). When shooting finally started the rain came down at the start of the second dozen at 30m by the time we collected the arrows it had stopped. We had a cold gusting wind all morning, which showed in the scores.
After we finished and everything was packed away it was into the bar for hot soup, sandwiches and christmas pudding. Mrs Southpaw made wonderful sandwiches so Southpaw will be forgiven for being late and will be invited to all future shoots. Medals were presented to Malcy (1st), Southpaw (2nd) and SVL (3rd) and the best hat award went to Arcus Maximus and Vanya Gould. Picture will be posted latter. Once we started to leave the sun came out. the skies was blue and the wind dropped.

Overall an excellen shoot and thanks to everybody who came, helped setting up and taking down the field and provided the after shoot food.
