We were just trying to get an idea how many would be interested HH, and it doesn't look like the required numbers are there to justify an outside caterer for the buffet. So it looks like we'll be donning our chef's hats and doing it ourselves (I'm not saying that it won't be nice though )

Think we need one any way. I can see it now. 30+ archers and 20 trifles and cakes. As nice as they are dont think we can live on cakes all weekend. Some will try but dont think it will do the shooting any good.

To clarify...

We are still doing a buffet, just not a professional one. Whisky, Tarkers and I will be raiding the supermarkets of Macclesfield on the Friday afternoon to get the fixings and then putting things together later at the club so it's all ready to go on Saturday.

We realise that many are coming a distance to be with us, and most of the hotels don't have in-room facilities to keep food cool. If you want to bring something, that's up to you, but we'll have most of the food covered.

We will ask for a donation or a nominal fee for grub on the day.
