On behalf of all the organisers of the
AIUK Birthday Weekender I'd like to thank everybody who helped out and attended, I had a fantastic time and hope that everybody else did too
From
New Century Bowmen I'd like to thank:
Tamsin (Rapunzel),
Angie Roberts,
Brett Cox (Brett) and
Michael Cunningham (Balveda).
Neil Roberts (Nipper) &
James Forbes (Greydog) for helping out at the club and setting up the field course. And a big thank you to
Mike for helping with the maps and turning up with the metal detector on Sunday (my ACEs are very grateful

)
Leigh (Clickerati) for all the organisation, booking in, catering, shopping, Lady Paramounting; you name it Leigh did it and did it well (and without having to resort to the crop too often....

)
Steve (Tarkwin), for the massive amount of raffle prizes, Fonz Award, administrator cow hats, cow balloons and the long, long journey
Richard (Whisky) for his excellent improptu speeches, for suggesting the whole thing and the energy he put into running around the field course.
Stu (Stu369) for agreeing to score the whole weekend. While everyone else was out on the lash, Stu dilligiently sat in his hotel room trying to get a connection to send me the scores! Excellent job, Stu, I'll get them up as soon as poss.
Tracey (Little Miss Purple) for the excellent job she did selling all the raffle tickets and presenting the medals on the Sunday.
KateLondon for the fantastic cakes and to
Neil (Schme1440) and
Lauren (Mrs Schme1440) for collecting them and bringing them to the shoot and then driving the left overs to the Field Shoot.
Lauren also deserves great credit for the amount of time, effort and preperation she put into the buffet while we were all shooting.
Ruthmc for her wonderful trifle

I'm a big trifle lover but unfortunately had to run off home when it came out (I was on a day pass). Next time, Ruth
I got a bit of a surprise during the awards and was presented with an Aardvark Archery Arrow Voucher and my very own Aardvark! So I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to it, it was certainly unexpected and left a bit of a lump in the old throat!
Finally, I'd like to thank those who travelled long distances to attend the event, there were quite a few of you who travelled and it was very much appreciated and great to see you there!
Hopefully, we'll be able to do it all again next year (if New Century Bowmen'll have us back).
Thanks again,
Dave
