Already signed up for Div3 Compound, as I have only been shooting since Christmas and compound for 4 weeks so did not want to push it on distance, I can shoot any time I want as we have our own field, do the scores need to be concurred or is it taken on trust?

Also I am unsure on rules such as how many sighters we are allowed at each distance etc, will there be a guide produced? I do intend going through this with the club guys but may be useful to have some rules on the forum.

I am Ok on distances arrows per end etc found a great link for what rounds are what - http://www.ashbyivanhoearchers.co.uk/content/rounds.htm Just need to understand shooting rules.

Hi Paul,

As this is a fun shoot all scores are taken on trust. Rules for the tournament are as those laid down by GNAS (there's a rules of shooting PDF available at www.gnas.org). You're also free to shoot the round as many times as you want during the month but you're only allowed to submit one score for any particular round so make sure it's your highest.

If you need any help at all, don't hesitate to ask.

Dave

Thx Had a quick Look will read it properly later, just realised i am compound Unlimited I thought I was Limited cant remember which one I chose for the Poll.

Ok sighters there are a set at the allotted time, but do you get these at each distance during the set or one set at the beginning, then educated guess for the remainder of the distances .

I set of sighters for furthest distance, then educated guess (or you wrote them down last time you shot that distance) for the rest.
