Field or Target.

I noticed on the "type of bow" pole that the majority of archers here, seem to prefer recurve bows. Given the amount of Longbows and Flat bows I see at field competitions, I would guess most of you here are Target archers. So let's see, are you a target or a field shooter?

RE: Field or Target.

I guess by the number of field related posts, that you are most likely right.

ps I was at Fleet Ibex yesterday, I guess that you must have been there as I heard your two lads names called out for prizes.

Yes was there. Unfortunately, my boys are often in a better position than me to get a prize "Improving slowly" is the expression.

RE: Field or Target.

Both. I think that field is more fun, and target is better for working on technique.

RE: Field or Target.

Both for me too.

Shoot an X-Factor for target and prefer to shoot my Sam Wha trainer bow barebow for field, more fun and more of a challenge, can just about manage 60m so long as it's not too steep an incline. Also it's cheaper to lose a few Jazzes & Secura carbons in the woods than ACC's.
