I'm also against an enforced dress code.

Just out of interest, what other sports still have a sticked dress code.

Football,rugby,cricket,tennis,hockey,snooker,rowin g,judo,aikido.....
But, of course, like archery, the dress code only applies on the more formal occasions.

Vote on whether you would like the AIUK clothing adopted as the dress code.....and the AIUK cow adopted as the 'hip' new GNAS emblem.

Most other sports I can think of with a dress code have it for a practical reason. Football, rugby, hockey - so you can tell who's in which team. Judo - so you've got something to grab onto and fling your opponent that won't rip.

Even those with more strict codes - e.g. tennis - are changing for the better. Maybe not snooker, but then snooker players don't contest with the elements like we do.

There's no practical reason for the GNAS dress code, which is one of the reasons I think it needs to go.

I think the whole green and white thing sux, frankly. However, I do think there should be some restrictions. There are shoots in the US (perhaps not NAA/FITA shoots) where people show up in cut-off jean shorts, torn t-shirts and bikini tops. Great for a picnic, the beach, the bedroon, but not on the shooting line.

I think team shirts (AIUK included) in any colour are a good idea. It still gives an air of dress code, but we should be able to wear what we like on the bottom (within reason) as long as it's clean -- khakis, cargos (no camo), just above knee-length skirts, skorts or shorts, even jeans.

You'll have to model it tomorrow night, LMP.
