| The two are not mutuality exclusive! I had poor technique for ages but I was strong enough to shoot about 40ish pounds. Both my technique and my strength limit my archery at long distances, both have separate goals in order to improve them.

| yea technique is a better word. unless you really meant style. If its technique or poundage, I believe the answer is obvious. Technique can give you tons of points, while poundage can only improve your score by a little.

| if blokes don't shoot the ~40# needed to shoot 100yards in a York, we miss out on 648point right there! im sure we'd all shoot perfect portsmouths if we shot 16# bows, but we wouldn't be able to shoot much else! still, technique over poundage any day |

| No you wouldn't actually as to balance the bow you'd need to have a low mass weight too. Therefore stabilisation is difficult and it wouldn't keep steady.
